Transfer students must:
 
Transfer planning advice from CaliforniaColleges.edu suggests that transfer students first take their core general education English and math courses. Then, they should focus on taking their lower-division general education requirements, or their major-preparation coursework if they are pursuing a high-unit major.
 
Students who are unsure of their major should concentrate on completing lower-division general education requirements to learn more about their own interests and the various majors available.
 
California Community College students should visit their school's Transfer Center or counseling office to get help with transfer course planning.
