Through our partnership with Sierra College, Roseville Adult School offers hands-on automotive training. In addition, we provide professional Class A Commercial Driver's License education through our partnership with Western Pacific Truck School on campus at Roseville Adult School. Automotive Service Technician
Class 1: Basic Automotive Services Repair
Sierra College: AUTO 100/800 (4 Units), 108 Hours
Spring and Fall Semesters | Monday & Wednesday | 5:00 pm to 8:05 pm
Class Description: Learn the foundational skills of automotive technology, including vehicle operation, tool use, measurements, electrical testing, and common service techniques. Hands-on projects in our shop prepare students for entry-level work and the ASE G1 service exam.
Class 2: Automotive Skill Development
Sierra College: AUTO 140/840 (3 Units), 110 Hours
Spring and Fall Semesters--| Tuesday & Thursday | 5:00 pm to 8:05 pm
Class Description: Gain hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing key vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, heating, air conditioning, electrical, engines, and transmissions. Shop projects improve on skill and speed while preparing students for the ASE G1 service exam.

- Register for Classes
- Choose the courses available at Adelante High School
- Pay for classes through Sierra College

Tractor/Trailer Operator Program (Class A CDL)
Class A Commercial Driver's License
Details: 160 hours (7–8 weeks), 5 students per cohort, located at Roseville Adult School
Monday - Friday | 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Class Description: This accelerated program provides hands-on training, real driving experience, and fast entry into the high-demand trucking industry—without the need to commute to a separate training facility. You Will Learn: Real-world driving (city, highway, traffic), Defensive driving & emergency procedures, Backing skills and trailer operation, DOT safety rules and regulations, and Hands-on instruction with industry equipment.
Enrollment Instructions
- Complete the Career Questionnaire.
- Return to Roseville Adult School Main Office or Email completed form to: Jason Harm, Assistant Principal (jharm@rjuhsd.us)
- Fill out the Western Pacific's online interest form.
- Select the Class A CDL for the program.
- Wait for an email from [email] for your start time.
